During my travels I enjoy taking and sharing photographs of the nightsky with various foreground elements. I want to capture both the natural beauty of our planet Earth, and its view of the heavens. I have been awarded for my photography by winning the NASA Astronomy Picture of the Day for September 1st 2016. This photograph was used by lead guitarist and co-founder of the band Queen, Dr Brian May, on the album cover of Air Guitar Anthems, released in November 2016. I had the privilege of meeting Dr May during a Queen tour in Brisbane in 2018.
